Costco inpulse buys are bigger than other stores.

Whenever we go to Costco, seems we always leave with more than we thought. Neither of us can resist the six month supply of toilet paper and other good deals. Well, on Monday we went to the peninsula Costco and there was a big yellow Toyota FJ Cruiser sitting out front.
Fuzzy had been looking at them online, he liked the more refined driving and safety items versus the Jeep we had. So, we contacted the Costco buying program and traded.
Here’s a picture from the Internet, I’ll post pictures of ours soon:

Your Costco sells cars?!

Sorta. They have cars on display through their auto buying program. So you can see it at the store, then call the dealer and get the Costco price. The FJ has a towing capacity of 5,000 lbs versus 3,500 for the Jeep, better for towning the camper.

Cool, although I’m glad our costco doesn’t sell cars….

Came across your blog while researching the FJ myself and noticed all the MINI links. I have a MCS I may have to get rid of for a bigger company car:( Care to share what the Costco price saved off of MSRP on the FJ?
